Highlight 01

The Lake Itself

Lake Eyasi is a shallow, saline, and alkaline lake. Although it rarely holds water throughout the year, it’s often a large, dry basin that reflects the striking colors of the surrounding landscape. During the rainy season, the lake fills up, attracting a variety of wildlife, including bird species like flamingos and pelicans. The stark contrast between the dry lakebed and seasonal water makes it a fascinating site to explore.
